Paul joined NOW Group in 2016 after losing his job. Through our Training and Academies programme, he completed several catering placements, at Loaf Café on the Grosvenor Road and Bobbin Cafe. Paul also gained catering qualifications such as his Catering NVQ level 1 and 2.
Through the support of NOW Group's employment academy, in 2019 Paul got a job in Harry D's restaurant where he was supported by the Workable programme. He loved this job, however he was unfortunately made redundant as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Paul soon came back onto NOW Group's employment services and soon after he got a placement in the Hilton at Templepatrick. They were so impressed and pleased with Paul's work ethic that they offered him a paid position. He is thoroughly enjoying his time at Hilton at Templepatrick and loves working as part of a team.
Paul still receives support from his employment officer who helps him with any new training required for his job and assists him with booking days off and holidays. Congratulations Paul on your hard work and achievements to date!
