Northern Ireland's Next Top Dog Winner at Loaf Pottery

LOAF Pottery – part of Social Enterprise, NOW Group – are delighted to announce that therapy dog Bella Bruce has been crowned the winner of Northern Ireland’s Next Top Dog.

Bella Bruce walked away with the fantastic prize of a professional photo shoot, three month’s supply of dog food from the competition’s sponsors, Werewolf Food, and a collection of Loaf’s handmade Irish Pottery, including a handcrafted dog bowl.

Bella Bruce showed she had the Woof Factor throughout her professional photoshoot, which took place at Loaf Pottery’s garden. We had the chance to speak with Bella’s owner Helen, who told us how Bella has made an amazing difference to her family.

“It took us a long time to find the perfect therapy dog for our sons. Now we couldn't imagine life without her. Our son uses Makaton but around her has started saying some words and she shows him the most exceptional love and patience. She is truly part of our family”

Although it was hard to pick from the competition pawsome entries, it is clear to see that Bella is a worthy winner!

Loaf Pottery have recently added a range of stunning handcrafted dog bowls to their Irish pottery range. These dog bowls are available in a range of different glazed colours, including pink, green, blue and more! Our ceramic dog bowls are a great way of expressing your style and showing off your dog’s quirky personality. The glaze on our Irish pottery makes these dog bowls easy to keep clean and is dish-washer friendly.

All profits made from Loaf’s handmade Irish Pottery are reinvested into the work of the NOW Group, who make a difference to the lives of participants. NOW Group is a social enterprise in Northern Ireland who support people with learning difficulties and autism across the island of Ireland. They help them to gain qualifications and earn work / life experience that will enable them to move into jobs with a future.
