What different sectors say about JAM Card for Business

Banking

Rolling out JAM Card across branches has revolutionised banking for many people, including the elderly. Customers use it to signal discreetly that they need ‘Just A Minute’ of patience and support – and trained staff immediately know how best to provide it. Many financial services providers consider it an essential investment for ensuring accessibility.

Transport

Making travelling on buses easier for people with invisible disabilities is how the JAM Card movement started – and since then it’s taken the anxiety and difficulty out of tens of thousands of trips. Popular as a simple but effective communication tool, public transport providers, airports and private travel companies say JAM Card is just the ticket.

Government

An increasing number of public sector services including the justice system, the passport office and social services have introduced the JAM Card concept to provide greater accessibility for all users. Underlining this commitment to boost inclusivity, thousands of civil servants have also completed training in the award-winning ‘Just A Minute’ scheme.

Retail

Leading supermarket brands have boosted customer service in hundreds of stores by signing up to JAM Card. Shoppers with a non-visible disability say that knowing staff will recognise the discreet signal they need ‘Just A Minute’ and provide support makes the in-store experience less daunting and more efficient. Employees also like that it’s easier to give assistance.

Hospitality

Ensuring guests feel welcome and valued is crucial for their enjoyment and return. Employees across the industry credit JAM Card with enhancing the customer experience and facilitating assistance. It also serves as a vital inclusivity tool for staff with non-visible disabilities. Accessibility is not just a legal obligation; it's the right thing to do.
