We are thrilled to welcome Bank of Ireland as the latest organisation to become JAM Card friendly.

Membership recognises that a business has completed training with NOW Group to make customer sites more inclusive to people with communication barriers, learning difficulties and autism.

Announcing the news through its Twitter account, Bank of Ireland said it was “proud” that its branches were now JAM Card friendly.

An acronym for ‘Just a minute’, the JAM Card was co-designed by our participants with learning difficulties and autism as a way of non-verbally and discreetly communicating that they need more time in social situations.

Beginning life as an initiative for companies throughout Northern Ireland, JAM now has members across the UK and Ireland.

To find out more about the JAM Card or to request a card from NOW Group, please visit https://www.nowgroup.org/jamcard.
